The Delegator
Wants to outsource all or part of their portfolio management to a professional financial advisor, human or digital, due to a lack of time or investment knowledge.

The Delegator is the biggest group of investors globally and has two main motivations for delegating their investment portfolio to a professional third party.
For the majority, it is a lack of knowledge on how to construct a portfolio, or a lack of confidence in their own abilities of knowing what to do with their finances.
For some it is a time factor, and their time is better spent earning money through their work or business and letting someone else take the time on their portfolio.
For a much smaller group, it is a risk management factor in a core-satellite portfolio. Having a core portfolio managed by a professional allows someone like the explorer to run a satellite trading strategy without risking their entire wealth.
